Digital Certificate Manager for Foreign Trade

Whose computer is your company's digital certificate installed on?

In Brazil, whoever has the company's digital certificate installed on their computer can access Siscomex, Brazil's foreign trade system, but can also issue electronic powers of attorney and view the owner's income tax return, in the owner's name. With the e.Mix digital certificate manager, the certificate is stored on e.Mix servers and each user accesses only the systems you allow, on the days, at the times and from the IP addresses you define.

If this happens at your company, the risk is already there

  • The director's or the company's certificate is installed on analysts' computers so they can access Siscomex.
  • Nobody can say who used the certificate, in which system and for what.
  • When someone leaves the company, the certificate stays installed on the computer they used.
  • The same certificate that opens Portal Único also opens eCAC (the Brazilian Federal Revenue portal), electronic powers of attorney and the holder's income tax return.

What someone with your certificate can do in your name

The digital certificate is the holder's identity online. Installed on a user's computer, it can't tell day-to-day work apart from everything else.

Issue powers of attorney

An electronic power of attorney can give another person powers in the certificate holder's name.

See personal and tax data

The holder's income tax return and tax information are one click away on eCAC.

Enter any system

Access isn't limited to the system the job requires: it works in every system that accepts the certificate.

Act at any time

At night, on weekends or from outside the company, with no rule to stop it.

It's a serious compliance problem: whatever is done with the certificate is done in the holder's name.

How the digital certificate manager solves it

Three steps, done by your own company, right in the software.

You upload the certificate through the software. It is stored on e.Mix servers and isn't installed on anyone's computer.

You register the users who can use the certificate.

You set the rules for each user: which systems they access, on which days of the week, at what times and from which IP addresses.

The analyst keeps working in Siscomex. But can't issue a power of attorney or open the owner's income tax return.

You decide, user by user

Systems

Allow only what each person's job requires. Everything else stays blocked.

Days of the week

Access only on the days your operation runs.

Times

Outside business hours, the certificate opens nothing.

Allowed IPs

Access only works from the addresses you authorize.

Frequently asked questions

Why not install the digital certificate on the analyst's computer?

Because whoever has the certificate installed can use it in any system that accepts it, not only in Siscomex. They can issue electronic powers of attorney and view the holder's income tax return, in the holder's name.

Where is the certificate stored?

On e.Mix servers. You upload the certificate directly through the software, and it is not installed on users' computers.

What can be restricted for each user?

Which systems they can access, on which days of the week, at what times and from which IP addresses.

What happens when an employee leaves the company?

You remove the user and their access to the certificate ends. Since the certificate was never installed on their computer, nothing is left behind.

Is the manager only for foreign trade?

This version is designed for foreign trade systems. For other uses of the digital certificate, there is the e.Mix Digital Certificate Manager.

Why e.Mix is different from other foreign trade software

Hiring software is easy. Transforming operations is different. The e.Mix Model combines three layers that don't work separately — and that's why our clients stay with us for more than 18 years.

    01

    System

Foreign trade software with exception management, native integration with Siscomex, RADAR, Siscarga, CEMercante and major ERPs (SAP, TOTVS, Oracle). Over 3 billion rules processed automatically per year.

    02

    Methodology

Proprietary methodology based on Lean Six Sigma, EXIN and continuous improvement. It's not a platform user manual — it's the structured path to exit reactive mode, with governance rituals, exception-based KPIs and wave-by-wave evolution.

    03

    Team that lives your operation

Foreign trade specialists — not generic IT. The e.Mix team follows your operation daily, configures, evolves and reviews processes with you. It's not reactive support: it's continuous partnership, from Go-Live to improvement that never stops.

Foreign trade software applied by operation segment

e.Mix platforms adapt to each company's operation profile. Below are examples of segments where we apply the technology, with configurations, dashboards and workflows adjusted to each one's reality.

What e.Mix platforms solve in your operation

Regardless of platform — FollowNet One, FollowNet or DemurrageNet — the logic is the same: events become decisions, exceptions become action and the team stops firefighting.

    Exception management

Hundreds of processes become a short exception queue with owners and SLAs. Your team focuses on what needs action — not on what's running smoothly.

Integration with Siscomex, RADAR and ERPs

Native connection to Brazilian customs portals (Siscomex, RADAR, Siscarga, CEMercante) and major ERPs (SAP, TOTVS Protheus, Oracle, OSGT). No endless IT project.

    Real-time dashboards and KPIs

Green/yellow/red traffic lights, executive dashboards and actionable KPIs. S&OP meetings answered in real time, no need to consult spreadsheets or email.

    Demurrage and free time control

Every container monitored by carrier, with alerts before expiration. Those who pay demurrage avoid the cost; those who charge justify every invoice with evidence.

    Audit trail and compliance

Every event, document and decision recorded with evidence. Audit response and AEO maintenance in minutes, not days. +20 million documents validated every month.

    Partner and SLA governance

Customs brokers, freight forwarders, carriers and shipping lines on a single panel. Standardized language, scorecard per partner and visible SLA for everyone.

Frequently asked questions about e.Mix foreign trade software

There is no single best foreign trade software — there is the right platform for your operation profile. e.Mix offers three platforms: FollowNet One for importers, exporters and industries that need to control processes, deadlines, costs and end-to-end visibility; FollowNet for Customs Brokerage Firms, Freight Forwarders and Trading Companies that serve multiple clients; and DemurrageNet for companies that charge demurrage from their clients. In a 30-minute demo we identify which platform fits your case.
Pricing is based on transaction volume and operation profile, not per user. Operations with volume and complexity have an average payback of 6 to 8 months, considering reduced demurrage, emergency freight, spreadsheet rework and foreign exchange closed late. The quote is calculated after a free initial analysis of your operation.
Yes. e.Mix platforms have native integration with SAP, TOTVS Protheus, Oracle, OSGT (Thomson Reuters ONESOURCE Global Trade) and other ERPs via customizable XML, API or electronic spreadsheet. Customs portals (Siscomex, RADAR, Siscarga, CEMercante) come connected out of the box. Integration does not require a long IT project: we start with one critical trade lane and expand in waves.
The first implementation wave takes 90 days, with measurable results by day 30 (reduced manual follow-up), day 60 (exception closure with SLA) and day 90 (avoidable cost reduction in BRL). Implementation does not stop the operation: the wave approach keeps the routine running while the platform is configured, starting with a critical slice and expanding by trade lane, partner or unit.
Yes. e.Mix offers a 30-minute personalized demonstration with real scenarios from your operation — it is not a generic demo. For cases where technical feasibility must be proven before contracting, the e.Mix team conducts a feasibility analysis with a technical visit and NDA, common in multinational operations that need to approve budget with the headquarters abroad.
Yes. e.Mix platforms support multinational operations with units in Brazil, Argentina, USA and Europe. Implementation respects the particularities of each country (customs regime, currency, local partners) but maintains a consolidated view for the headquarters. We work with clients of national and foreign capital, including subsidiaries of multinationals headquartered in Japan, USA and Europe.
The differentiator is not in the software — it is in the e.Mix Model. Most vendors deliver the platform and disappear after Go-Live. e.Mix combines three layers: System (foreign trade software), Methodology (Lean Six Sigma, EXIN, governance rituals, continuous improvement) and Team that lives your operation (foreign trade specialists, not generic IT). This is why our clients stay with us for over 18 years — not by contract, but by continuous results.
e.Mix platforms adapt to each company's operation profile — there is no closed segment list. On the website we show application examples in Importers, Exporters, Manufacturers, Automotive, Technology and Electronics, Airlines, Trading Companies, Freight Forwarders and Customs Brokerage Firms, with configurations, dashboards and workflows adapted to each reality. Over 40% of Brazil's import and export processes run through e.Mix software.
